la soluzione migliore per risolverli. Spesso non è la soluzione che chiede o quella che immagina,
perché non è il cliente quello tenuto a conoscere gli strumenti informatici o il modo di utilizzarli.
Ma, in ogni caso, la soluzione deve essere la migliore possibile.

Bastet sta per “Broadcasting Asset Enhanced Technology”.
Si tratta di un sistema client-server disegnato per pilotare gruppi e famiglie di pannelli informativi avvalendosi di tecnologie opensource.

Booking Manager
Booking Manager è un sistema client-server e web di gestione per campeggi, villaggi turistici, hotel ed altre unità o catene alberghiere o ospitative.
Si tratta di un prodotto assolutamente innovativo che abbatte i costi di gestione, azzera il rischio di perdite dati, fornisce un sistema di booking sul web e può essere gestito con client Mac, Windows o Linux.
Chimera
Internet pullula di identità digitali, e quindi di agenti verificatori delle stesse. Chimera (“CMRA”, ovvero “Centralized Multiple Re-Authenticator”) è un sistema atto a separare l’identità dalla verifica della stessa, che avviene tramite le sorgenti di autenticazione esterne (ad esempio un account “gmail”).

Si tratta soprattutto di librerie Javascript leggere e versatili, il cui scopo è di alleggerire il lavoro del server delegandolo ai tanti browser che accedono alle web applications.

During the different projects Altersoftware.IT has developed some libraries or contributions that are distributed for free, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License.
These are mostly read and versatile Javascript libraries, whose aim is to lighten the work of the server by delegating it to the many browsers that access web applications.

World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas
World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas
Per realizzare il “World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas” (4th Edition, 5th Edition - ISBN: 9251061912 / 9789251061916)
il Fishery Department della FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization
of the United Nations) ha adottato il framework inizialmente sviluppata da Marco Balestra sulla base di XulRunner,
quello stesso framework multipiattaforma poi utilizzato in altri prodotti client-server di altersoftware.IT.
L’Atlas veniva rilasciato ogni due anni, nel corso di SOFIA.
La prima versione dell’Atlas che usa questa tecnologia è del 2006, e ancora nel 2011 il “World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas”
rappresentava l’unico esempio di applicazione tripiattaforma (per Windows, Mac e Linux) prodotta dalla FAO.
Successivamente fino al 2019 l’Atlas ha fatto uso di un nuovo framework web-based sempre sviluppato da Marco Balestra.
In order to realize the “World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas” (4th Edition, 5th Edition - ISBN: 9251061912 / 9789251061916)
the Fishery and Aquaculture Department of FAO (Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations) adopted the framework initially developed by Marco Balestra on XulRunner,
the same framework then used in other multiplatform solutions developed by altersoftware.IT.
The Atlas was released every two years, during SOFIA.
The first release of the Atlas using this frameworks is from 2006, still in 2011 the “World Fisheries and Aquaculture Atlas”
was the only example of three-platform application (Windows, Mac, Linux) produced by FAO.
Later on, up to year 2019, the Atlas used a new web-based framework always developed by Marco Balestra.
