Google support for Captcha v1 ended on 31st March 2018, but the Joomla 2.5 Recapthca plugin stopped working even before.
To keep it working and upgrade it to Captcha v2, here there is a fix for the captcha plugin shipped with Joomla 2.5:
Thats’s it, just reload the page — also cache deletion shouldn’t be necessary.
🔑 Please note: according to Google my keys were v2, but actually they were not.
With the patch in place recaptcha was working, but using images (v1).
By generating new keys specifically for v2 I got a nocaptcha-recaptcha (just a simple click).
Il supporto di Google per i Captcha v1 è finito il 31 Marzo 2018, ma il plugin già non funzionava a fine Gennaio.
Perché continui a funzionare anche con i Captcha v2 ecco un fix peer il plugin che fa parte dell’installazione di Joomla 2.5:
È finita, potete ricaricare la pagina — non dovrebbe servire neanche cancellare la cache.
🔑 Nota: secondo Google stavo usando chiavi ReCaptcha v2, ma non era vero.
Una volta applicato il fix vedevo il captcha, ma con le immagini (v1).
Generando delle nuove chiavi, specificatamente v2, ora ho un nocaptcha-recaptcha (un semplice click).
